Samsung has released latest smartphone namely Galaxy S Plus and Chat 335 Pink Ribbon Edition in Netherlands. These special edition handsets feature a Pink Ribbon logo at the back cover, showing the company’s support for women with breast cancer. For each Pink Ribbon Edition unit sold, Samsung will donate €10($14) to the Pink Ribbon Charity organization. The company hopes to donate a total of €150,000 or around $200,000 to the Pink Ribbon Foundation to facilitate their mission of achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer.

However, the phone was well received on the market and determined Samsung to release the Galaxy S Plus in additional European countries. The smartphone is equipped with a single core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon processor and an Adreno 205 graphics processing unit. It runs Google's latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs 8 GB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB of ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).Samsung Galaxy S Plus And Chat 335 Pink RibbonThe Galaxy S Plus comes with a large 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, which is protected against scratches thanks to its Gorilla Glass display. The feature-phone has a 2.4-inch display with 262k colors support and 320 x 240 pixels resolution. It packs only 60 MB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 8GB).
